Finding Equity

Being Black is not synonymous to anger

Being Black is not synonymous to danger

Being Black is not synonymous to poverty

Being Black is not synonymous to tragedy

Being Black is common with perseverance

Being Black is common with cultural adherence

Being Black is common with ten thousand languages

Being Black is common with twenty thousand ethnicities

The color Black absorbs all

The color Black doesn’t fade at all

The color Black dominants the landscape

The color Black penetrates the sunrays

Black is when you are suffer-free

Totally operating in autonomy

Creating new waves in a laboratory

Pixelating new additions on life’s movie screen

Cosmos-inspired textile mosaics reign supreme

Eyes’ vision 8th dimension that affects impact

Lives of truth genuinely smile back

Rites of passage prepares responses of tact

Deep touches of moans felt along spine, back

Incomparable is the definition of Black

The new book has ALMOST arrived!

Greetings Dedicated Poetry Lovers,

As you have read in the title, the second book is almost available for homes across the globe. The Cells of the Tissue That Should Feel will be the second published book of E as Poetlove Water/Etaniel Ben Yehuda/me (scheduled for Fall 2016 release).  I believe this book is the extroverted twin of The Chronicles of Air, Water and the Source.  In the first book, The Chronicles, I encouraged readers through personal experience to seek the answers to life on inside of self.  Although this was not a popular concept in the 1990’s/early 2000’s, I hold steadfast to the idea of inner development for true empowerment.  I can give thousands of testimonies of the effectiveness of knowing self and walking in your divine power!

Now…that we have connected with self, it’s time to MAKE SOME NOISE! The Cells is not for the faint of heart or soul.  This life on Earth requires great amounts of strength, focus, determination and certainty in purpose.  Stay tuned as I provide teasers as poems over the upcoming weeks, leading to the publishing debut.  As always, I really appreciate the wonderful support that my artistic/soul expressions have garnered.  Fulljoy life!

The Funeral of Etaniel

Festive

Celebrating all he IS

Orange Blue Black

Soca music blaring

Afro-House compelling

Yes…letting the tears flow

But…mix in the cartwheels

Coupé Décalé, smiles and pleasantries

For the spirit has retired

Soul endured the fire

Because fires don’t consume dragons

Delectable brown body laid to rest

Weary eyes of trials by fire

Positively endless

Negatively temporal

Balance meets the area of grey

“I Think I am Untitled”

As a writer and human being, I am always seeking the challenge of challenging myself.  A writer’s group I have recently joined (Brooklyn, NY) provides a platform to be challenged and criticized.  It ensures that there is no allowance for a “comfort zone” when creating art that remonstrances status quo and social ills.  The result is below:

I Think I am Untitled

Up the stairs

How many stairs

How many stairs?

Lead to how many flights?

Preparation of the legs

Reaching new height

Many stares

Upon many stairs

Long strides

Produces extra sounds

Creaks that peak

Around the surroundings

Causation of building

Muscle mass

Strong lungs

So….how many stairs?

stairs

Eyes still staring

Seeking out flatlands

To rest joints

At the flex points

Views of dust

Slight debris

Welcomed to the nose

Invasion of some sorts

In flight

Upon a few more flights

Then I’ll reach

A much needed break

Creaks are peaking

Hope increasing

Tongue is panting

Patience is thinning

Okay now, okay now

This is it

The flatlands are here!

The extra sound as {{{ THUMP }}}

Black Alternative…….you got the screwface!

Eclectic’s the name

Couldn’t hide

No shame

From the military

To the vintage, baggyness

Focus on the itinerary

Must have look

To express the insides

Again no shame

Full of pride

Because I worked

Pushed, persevered

To know WHO I AM

Oranges and blue

Grounded by black

Knowing thyself

Sometimes surrounded by white

Greens in cup

And on my plates

Excited by Portishead

Superblue and Metallica

Mariah’s on the radio

As tranced out to drum & bass

Plenty raves, no pills

Music making me high

Astral travels to unravel

Stresses and pressures

Twisted demands

Black, the mistaken curse

Male, the mistaken identity

USA, the mistaken utopia

The outsiders wanting to come

To scared to come in

‘Cause within themselves

They wouldn’t go in

I live as prime example

Jealously enraged

As this man stand strong

Never saying “fuck you!”

After the Meditation Was Answered

As the stars align
Children of Dark Matter rise
With full support
The Brightest Star
Nourishing our cells
Peace and Power possess
Our Beings
That holds light
The Awakening Massive
Breaking down walls
Created by monsters
That thrive of desperation
The human soul thrives better

Dedication to Earth Day 2015

When is Earth Day?

Landscape varied
Fires ablaze
Winds chimes
As the tears of clouds
Produce memories of thousands of years

Supple breasts for kindling
Deers pant by streams
Of deliciousness of H20
Hippopotamus delight
Rolls and turns

Emergence of caverns
Blind bats, black and brown
Pink and white splotched things
Devious caramel and mocha sand creations
Destruction with each footstep

Forests of tree sing harmonies
Miles of ocean augment rhythms
Grasses passions numerous actions
Dark carbonated soils birth countless seeds
Saluting the smiling moon

A mighty star to encourage all
Life ebb and flows
The juice of life
Penetrated 10,000 feet below surface
Blood serving as griot
